What didn't exist was a solution built for a business like this — production-grade and reliable enough to trust with real client conversations, but accessible enough that a small business owner could actually use it.

So we built it. Not as a prototype. As a production system deployed on enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure with the security and reliability the problem deserved.

SilverLink was built by Ian Altemus — a cloud infrastructure engineer who co-owns a multi-location beauty business. The product came from living the problem firsthand and having the technical capability to solve it properly.

The business insight came from 15 years of operational leadership. The technical foundation came from production AWS architecture, Terraform infrastructure-as-code, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to build systems that work reliably under real business conditions.
